Cultivate Food Rescue, a South Bend, Indiana-based nonprofit, is committed to reducing food waste and fighting hunger. By recovering surplus food and converting it into nutritious meals, Cultivate provides vital support to those in need. For their campaign, I created a suite of design and storytelling materials that highlighted the organization’s mission and human impact.

The Challenge
Cultivate Food Rescue needed materials that emphasized the human impact of their mission, shifting the focus to stories and imagery that resonated emotionally with donors. The goal was to foster a deeper connection with the community, increasing donations and engagement with their life-changing work.
The Solution
In collaboration with the talented team at Big Idea Company, I designed a suite of materials that told Cultivate’s story through warm, heartfelt visuals and human-centered narratives. The designs spanned a wide array of formats, from digital assets to print collateral, all crafted to highlight the impactful work and mission of Cultivate. Infographics made impact metrics easy-to-grasp, while photography used focused on relatable, real-life stories to inspire support and action.
